3/29/2024 0 Comments Ggu cybercampusMy undergrad is from Regents (BS CIS) and will (hopefully) have a MSc/MBA within a year from UMUC. OR should I look into to going to Lincoln Law school (nights) for a JD ? My question is this : I am thinking I should have some sort of Grad Certificate in Security, more general, like the AMU program: I will be taking the CISSP mid Jan, I attended the SANS conference (my new employer paid for both trainings) and will be taking doing the GCIA (pretty intensive certification) over the next 5 months. Although the school claimed that I was free to publish my material elsewhere, their hazy understanding of our contract did not fill me with great confidence in this promise. I have been in the IT field for over 14 years, I work as Director of IT for a Municipal Power company in SIlicon Valley (recently hired, new position after 9/11) and would like to concentrate my skills in the Security aspects of the IT field. By March 2000, when the Golden Gate University Cybercampus e-mailed me, the ink was drying on my publishing contract. Mgmt portion of my dual TMAN/MBA program at UMUC (phew - now the hard part starts on Jan 6th 2003, first Cohort MBA class) It has been a long time since I posted anything, but have been lurking in the shadows reading
